Nigerians were promised on Thursday that the N-Power Batch C selection process will be fair, and also informed that Selection process for N-Power Batch C 2020 is on going by the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Emergency Management and social development, Hajia Sadiya Farouq.
The minister, who spoke for the social investment programs held in Abuja at the interactive forum with state focal persons, said she has since given approval for the payment of stipends for the exited recipients of batches A and B up to the month of June 2020 including that of the independent monitors.
She said, “I shall take this opportunity to reassert our commitment to the service of humanity, because in June and July we met the N-powers’ Batches A and B and are now working to ensure that the transition initiative can be included or adopted in other programs. We shall be working on the basis of this commitment.
“We have already collected more than 5 million applications from prospective N-Power Batch C and are currently choosing the eligible participants to join the system.
“I assure the selection process will be transparent to all applicants and Nigerians. “In addition, I would like to reiterate that I have approved the payment of stipends for the exited beneficiaries of Batch A and B up to the month of June 2020, including that of independent monitors.”
