NSCDC Dismisses Officer Who Looted COVID-19 Palliatives In Abuja
On Monday, a crowd raided the factory and carted away the palliatives. On social media, a video that made the rounds shows the cop grabbing his own palliative.
One of its personnel, Corps Assistant Illiya Ibrahim of the Abuja Gwagwalada Division, was sacked by the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps for engaging in the looting of Covid-19 palliatives found in a warehouse in Gwagwalada, Abuja, IgbereTV says.
Mean while in Kaduna state, it’s a door to door operation in search of stolen palliatives by security operatives. The governor tweeted saying “We intend to bring each and everyone of them to justice. Stealing and destruction of property in the guise of #EndSARS will not be tolerated in Kaduna State. Thanks.”
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has punished a Corps Assistant Illiya Ibrahim of the Gwagwalada Division Abuja by dismissing him from the service in relation to the looting of Covid-19 palliatives discovered in a warehouse in Gwagwalada, Abuja.
