Nigeria’s F.G okays resumption of educational institutions

In the the late hours of Friday, the federal government of Nigeria through the minister of education, Adamu Adamu said in a press conference attended by journalists that the educational institutions— unity schools, private schools and state school are hereby granted permission to resume on the 12th of October, 2020.

This is coming after the order of the federal government to close down schools in march 30th, 2020 amidst the increasing rise of people  infected by the novel corona virus and the very needed action to reduce the spread of the virus. Although, major exams were and had taken place but were majorly for senior classes. Also, states like Oyo and kogi had resumed fully despite the pandemic.
