Naira Marley Cancels SARS Protest, Here’s Why

Naira Marley has halted the protest scheduled on Tuesday for the lawlessness of certain agents of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS.

Naira Marley made this known in a post shared on his Twitter page.

His declaration came few hours after the Minister of Youth, Sunday Dare engaged the artist not to protest including that the legislature is the issue.
Dare expressed that the complaints looked by Nigerians, particularly the young people are being tended to, henceforth no compelling reason to set out on quiet protest.

Naira Marley tweeted,

“We won’t be protesting anymore because there’s a lot of changes being made right now. “As a Marlian we will give them a week to see the changes and if there’s no changes we will start a mass protest.”
