The 2020 West Africa Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination popularly known as WAEC (West African Examination Council) which started on Monday, August 17, 2020 has finally come to an end today being Saturday, September 12, 2020; just as the governing body agreed that it was only going to last for the period of one month.
Lots of stories and rumors had popped up during the period of this same WAEC. Stories like: the WAEC was cancelled, the WAEC was postponed, all due to the world’s current situation of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Some top headlines as regards this same issues were: “20 candidates test positive for corona virus in Bayelsa”, ” 7 more students test positive for COVID-19 in Gombe state” and lots more…
But amidst the whole saga, the 2020 WAEC is finally over. And aside the whole seriousness and fight still on against the COVID-19 Pandemic, some lots of funny trends had popped up recently on different social medias: Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, and Instagram as regards the WAEC coming to an end… More of which are particularly teasing the older ladies who are still playing hard to get in the Relationship Labour Market.
A recent post I saw on WhatsApp stated: “keep telling any man that comes your way ‘I never reach to marry… I have not enjoyed life‘. Shebi you’re seeing their big bombom? (referring to a picture he tagged).. WAEC is over and they are coming into the relationship labour market. Continue keeping malice and be forming hard to get. Don’t forget they are well equipped both front and back.
But well, we are hoping that now that they are all through with the WAEC, they will all focus on the brighter future that awaits them while they play their cards well.
As for those still waiting to write the National Examination (NECO), we pray it comes and go successfully just as the WAEC.
Wishing all the candidates of the 2020 WAEC success and flying colors as they await their results!
