An explosion occurred in the early hours of Thursday at a gas station in Baruwa area of Ipaja, Lagos State.
VILLA UPDATES reports that the explosion started around 6am and has destroyed properties worth millions.
The Lagos State Emergency Agency (LASEMA) confirmed the incident and stated that their agents have been sent there to manage the scene.
“No casualty has been confirmed as of the time of filing this report.
Gas station currently on fire in Barusa area of Lagos. Explosion occurred around 6am. The agency has activated our emergency response plan,” it said.
