The officer who was killed while on duty in Birnin Gwari on Saturday was confirmed to be the best graduating officer at the NAF Special Forces Course recently held in Bauchi.
The human rights lawyer, Bulama Bukarti, who reported the death of the Air Force soldier, observed that the deceased was one of the most recent gallant men in the NAF.
Bukarti said in a tweet posted on Sunday night, September 6th, 2020 that “Flying Officer Muhammad Auwal is one of the most recent gallant men we have unfortunately lost to terrorists. Yesterday (Sept. 5) he was killed on duty at Birnin Gwari.
“He is the Best Graduating Officer at the NAF Special Forces Course recently held in Bauchi. We’ve lost so many courageous and dedicated men to the ongoing crisis in our country.”
