FG advises ASUU to consider Farming as an alternative Profession

The Minister of State for Education, Mr. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba has asked individuals from the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), to leave the teaching profession and think about going into cultivating, emphasizing on that more Famers are required in the nation.

“ASUU is inside its privileges as an association of speakers. We didn’t begin a dispute with ASUU based on COVID-19. ASUU was at that point, on protesting path before COVID-19. Not long before COVID-19 closed down schools, they went on an indefinite strike. We are in no dispute with them.
