Edo Decides: Police Commission Issues Warning On Saturday’s Election

The Police Service Commission has cautioned police staff sent to Edo State for Saturday’s governorship survey to shun demonstrations of offense during the  election.

The Head, Press and Public Relations of the commission, Mr Ikechukwu Ani, made this known in an announcement on Thursday in Abuja.

Ani cautioned the agents on the elections in the state to work according to the law and rules of the engagement.

He said the commission had conveyed a special group to screen the conduct of police work force during the activity.

He said that infractions by any official contrary to the guidelines managing political race policing would be investigated with proper authorizations allotted.

Ani also said the commission had gotten affirmations from the police specialists that satisfactory security plans had been made to guarantee a hitch free and tranquil process.

Lastly, He educated general society to call the commission on 07034072677, 08050517678 or 08052265260 for reports on the performance of police during the voting, NAN reports.
