Cardi B has allegedly sought legal separation from her husband Offset after three years of marriage.

The rapper filed separation papers in Atlanta, Georgia, on Tuesday, as reported by TMZ, which also reports Cardi, whose genuine name is Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar, is looking for essential legitimate guardianship of the couple’s two-year-old girl, Kulture.

As per the outlet, the WAP rapper is hoping to win child support of their child against Offset. A meeting for the separation is as of now planned for 4 November.

Cardi B and the Migos rapper, whose genuine name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, wedded in a closed ceremony in September 2017.

All through their three-year marriage, Cardi has opened up various occasions about Offset’s supposed unfaithfulness, and also stated her reasons behind remaining with him.

In January 2018, the Bodak Yellow rapper seemed to affirm gossipy tidbits that Offset had cheated in a tweet, where she said it’s

“not right”.

In 2019, she had a meeting with Vogue for it’s January spread where she announced her choice to remain with the rapper regardless of his unfaithfulness which enraged her fans.

 “When me and my husband got into our issues — you know, he cheated and everything — and I decided to stay with him and work together with him, a lot of people were so mad at me; a lot of women felt disappointed in me,” she told the outlet. “But it’s real-life sh**. If you love somebody and you stop being with them, and you’re depressed and social media is telling you not to talk to that person because he cheated, you’re not really happy on the inside until you have the conversation.”

During the meeting, Cardi likewise said she felt that monogamy is the main way.

As at now, neither Cardi nor Offset have made remarks on the separation.
