Near Crash Experience: Aisha Buhari Commends Flight Crew, Thanks Nigerians
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all Nigerians for their prayers and good wishes while I was away for medication. I am well now and fully recovered and have since returned back home, Nigeria.
On our way back the Nigerian Airforce Flight experienced a violent clear air turbulence that was safely and efficiently navigated by the Flight’s Captain and crew.
I would like to commend and appreciate the Captain and his crew’s bravery and loyalty, the excellent gallant military men and women of the Nigerian Air Force as a whole, for their devotion to the duty and the standard of their fleet maintenance.
I remember hosting private healthcare providers earlier this year and we had a very fruitful collaboration where the question of capacity building for the health sector in Nigeria was the main priority and financing was found to be the key challenge.
I therefore call on healthcare providers to take advantage of the initiative of the Federal Government through the guidance of the Central Bank of Nigeria ( CBN) for the activity of NGN100 trillion credit support for the healthcare sector, as recently published to commercial banks in a circular dated 25 March 2020.
This will inevitably help develop and extend Nigerian health sector capability, and eventually reduce medical and tourism trips outside the region.
Once again I would like to thank our front-line staff and all Nigerians for their steadfastness as we tackle the problems facing the world.
