Mr Agboola Ajayi, the governorship aspirant of the Zenith Labor Party (ZLP), was missing at the Ondo State governorship debate held on Sunday in Akure.
The discussion, named “2020 Ondo Governorship Election: Face the Voters” was attended by media associations, trade guilds, common social orders, strict bodies and other basic partners in the state.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Agboola, who is the current delegate lead representative, deserted to ZLP from All Progressives Congress (APC) to challenge the governorship political race.
Mr Akinwumi Abodunde, the arbitrator, said that the four ideological groups were welcomed for the discussion, clarifying that solitary two gatherings were available at the program.
“We welcomed up-and-comer of APC, PDP, SDP and ZLP for this discussion and none of the up-and-comers gave any indication that he won’t go to as at one hour to the program.
“Yet, just the applicant of APC and SDP – Mr Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and Mr Peter Fasua separately were available at the planned time,” Abodunde said.
Then, Mr Eyitayo Jegede of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) came an hour behind the planned time.

Akeredolu, while reacting to the inquiries, prevented the claim of running a family government, saying that he ran a straightforward government.

Rather, he said that his significant other “has been helping the ladies of Ondo State through the “BRECAN Initiative”.
“Let anyone that has proof that anybody of my family is a specialist in the administration come out.
“We will sue anybody that lies against my family,” he said.
He, along these lines, approached his allies to disregard any demonstration of viciousness during the governorship political decision planned to hang on Oct. 10.
Additionally, Mr Eyitayo Jegede the PDP up-and-comer, vowed to run a straightforward government whenever chose, forewarning his allies against savagery during the surveys.
“There is not something to be picked up by savagery which is the reason I ensure I report to the Police when such occurs.
“This state must have regard for harmony and request.
“I beg our youngsters not to go close to brutality, and our chiefs must demoralize savagery,” Jegede said.
Correspondingly, Mr Peter Fasua, the SDP applicant encouraged the young people not to bite the dust for any government official for the sake of a political decision.
“Anyone that kicks the bucket while executing viciousness has lost his life in vain.
“Kindly don’t squander your life for anybody during this political decision period.
“We, the competitors, are consistently with our security and are protected.
“Try not to permit yourselves to be utilized for viciousness,” Fasua said.
